In today’s rapidly changing digital world, the ability to use technology has become increasingly important for daily life. Many public services are now available online, and many more are being digitized. However, not everyone has the same opportunities or skills to use them. Seniors, in particular, often face challenges in adapting to digital tools and services.
The Nordic-Baltic project “Bridging the Digital Gap through Reverse Mentorship” developed and piloted a reverse mentorship framework in Lithuania, with the intent to extend it throughout the Nordic-Baltic region in the future. This initiative aims to enhance digital literacy among both youth and seniors, bridging the generational divide by fostering safe, trustful, and supportive intergenerational relationships and communities.
Project partners are organizing final event Intergenerational Exchange & Mentorship for Digital Inclusion, which will explore mentorship as a tool to enhance digital inclusion and strengthen intergenerational connections.
